Science Week 2026 was an absolute blast at Huntingdon Academy!
From budding wildlife biologists exploring habitats, to aspiring geologists investigating rocks and soils and future physicians diving into the wonders of gravity, it truly was a week to remember.
We’re so proud of our curious, enthusiastic learners. There’s no doubt we have many future scientists in the making here at Huntingdon.
A special highlight was our science scavenger hunt at Opal Play, led by our fantastic science ambassadors, who inspired and guided everyone with such passion.
What an incredible celebration of curiosity, discovery and learning!

🎭 Let’s bring learning to life!
Children learn best when they’re in the moment — laughing, imagining, and becoming part of the story. A little roleplay, a bit of drama, and a healthy dose of teacher humour can turn an ordinary lesson into an unforgettable adventure.
Step into character.
Change your voice.
Act out the story.
Let the classroom become a stage.
When teachers are willing to be playful, children feel safe to explore, speak up, and join in. And the best part? We all have fun whilst learning together.
Because sometimes the most powerful teaching tool… is simply letting yourself be a little bit silly. 🎭✨
