Year 2 explored what life was like for soldiers in the trenches during World War One today. Mrs Riley, our headteacher, brought the learning to life with her fantastic drama skills, transforming the classroom experience as the children “met” a World War One soldier. The pupils were fully engaged, asking thoughtful questions and gaining a deeper understanding of what it was like to live and fight in the trenches.

Another wet but wonderful day at Forest School! 🌧️🌿
The children put their sawing and drilling skills to great use, creating beautiful medallion necklaces from nothing more than a simple stick. It’s amazing what can be made using natural materials found outdoors and a little creativity!
We were so impressed with the children’s enthusiasm, teamwork, and careful listening to adults, helping everyone stay safe while learning new skills. Well done, everyone!
