Our Year 2 adventurers got back from their first residential to White Post Farm today! As they walked back through the school gates with their suitcases and sleeping bags in hand, there was such cheerful chatter about their tractor rides, animal encounters and of course, the sleepover! 🐮🚜🌾
A day and night full of exciting experiences, new challenges and unforgettable memories.

In today’s baking lesson, the children in the Learning Retreat took part in a fun ice cream shop activity. They used play money to buy their ice cream, helping them practice counting and recognising coins. They chose their favourite ice cream flavours and then selected different sauces and sprinkles to decorate their creations. The activity encouraged communication, turn taking, decision making and early maths skills while allowing the children to use their imagination and enjoy creative play. It was also the perfect way to cool down in the heatwave!🍦
